A human rights-based approach to disability is key as highlighted in the Convention of rights for PWDs, aims to protect and promote the human rights of persons with disabilities. The shared key principles of the human rights-based approach and the Convention include non-discrimination, full participation and inclusion in the society, respect for difference of people with disabilities, equal opportunities, and equality between men and women, which are all emphasized also in BLINKs strategic plan
