Machakos University donates bales of corn flour
At Blind and Low Vision Network we believe in partnering with other organizations / institutions to enable us provide services to Persons with Disabilities.
One of our key partnerships is with Machakos University. On Tuesday 26th May 2021 the Director of Corporate Affairs, Machakos University, Mr. Shisia led a delegation of students from the university in a food donation drive.
BLINK’s Director Mr. Kennedy Siocha was able to receive and lead the distribution of five bales of wheat flour and five bales of corn flour to Persons With Disabilities.
This kind gesture was well received by the beneficiaries who acknowledged receipt of the food stuffs and prayed to get more help and support through such forums.
The partnership between BLINK and Machakos University has played a major role in promoting inclusivity of PWDS in the society.
In future, we hope to partner with Machakos University in more projects that will see us reach more Persons With Disabilities.
